Graham and Rachel Kell planted cpcc in 1998. Their primary occupation is to be parents of Josh and Brad, and although church work is important, their family is their highest priority.
The Kells have been married since 1992. They moved to Dallas in 1993, where Graham studied Masters in Theology (majoring in Pastoral Ministries) at Dallas Theological Seminary. He received experience in pastoral work, counselling, youth work, and teaching in North America, before returning to Australia in 1997.
Graham’s background is in wildlife management, so on their return to Australia he picked up some work at a local wildlife park while getting the church started. He’s still involved with this industry to a lesser degree, writing a wildlife column for the local paper and doing a little consulting work.
Graham’s also a psychologist, currently completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Both Graham and Rachel enjoy the family and friends they have at cpcc, but their main joy comes from their roles at home, as husband, wife, dad and mum.
