Growing upward, inward & outward

GIST: What does it mean to be human according to Jesus?

The Uni-Shop Bus is doing another event this Term but this time it’s indoors!
It’s our GIST(Give It Some Thought) event for the term, which is a relaxed night to share a meal together and learn and question Christian answers to contemporary questions.

This Term our guest speaker is Dave Fowler from Sunshine Coast Christian Students, who will be exploring anthrolopolgy by asking the question: What does it mean to be human according to Jesus?

As before this is a free and open event INCLUDING DINNER!
From the Uni-Shop Crew, we hope to see you there!

More about the Speaker:
Dave (B. Div, B. Sc. ) is married to Anna and they have 4 school-age children. Dave has spent the last 8 years working for the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES). Dave spent 6 years with AFES in Albury Wodonga before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 to start up a new AFES student group called Sunshine Coast Christian Students. Over the last few years Dave has been completing his masters in biblical studies. His particular interest is biblical narrative and the way in which God reveals himself through the lives of his people. In his spare time, Dave enjoys exploring the coast with his family, triathlons (70.3’s are his favourite) and the occasional attempt at surfing.
