Chancellor Park Community Church has an upward, inward, and outward purpose:
Upward: To grow in our relationship with God through prayer, worship, and time in His Word, that people might see Christ’s life and love demonstrated in us.
Inward: To grow in our relationships with each other, that we might become a Biblically functioning community of believers.
Outward: To offer all people a personal relationship with God, through culturally relevant ministries.
We honour God by acknowledging His presence in every area of our lives (Ps 139)
We present ourselves and our plans to God through prayer and give our praise to Him through worship (Rom 12:1-2; 1 Thess 5:16-18)
We believe the Bible is God’s message to mankind, and teach all of it, to know God and grow His church (Col 3:16; 2 Tim 3:16-17; Heb 4:12; 1 Pet 2:2)
We aim to become a Biblically functioning community of believers; caring for one another, and sharing with one another regardless of age, gender, or background (Acts 2:44-47)
We strive to be people of integrity, each growing as authentic followers of Christ (Matt 16:24; Jn 13:15; Rom 15:5; Php 2:1-5; 1 Pt 2:21)
Training for Ministry
We value each person’s uniqueness, and desire to effectively equip each one to accomplish the ministries of the church (Eph 4:11-13; 2 Tim 2:15)
We strengthen families by promoting Biblical familyvalues (Mk 10:9; Eph 5:21-6:4)
Helping the Hurting
We provide help for a hurting community, by modelling Christ’s compassion to those in need (Acts 20:35; Gal 6:9; Col 3:12; 1 Pet 3:8-13)
We offer the message of salvation in a culturallyrelevant way, through our public service and personal lives; starting locally, reaching globally (Matt 28:18-20; 2 Cor 4:13-15; 1 Pt 3:15)
Biblically Grounded. Culturally relevant
